Technology Speaks For Itself

This section includes testimonials concerning the Technology Literacy Curriculum Project from students, teachers and community members. LOOK and LISTEN to what those impacted by the program have to say!!!

STUDENTS REAP THE BENEFITS!!!
Students use technology as a tool to find needed research for projects, to store information for later use and as a means of communication. The world becomes an endless source of knowledge just waiting to be explored by each and every Taylor student.

TEACHERS LOOK AHEAD!!!
Teachers expand their knowledge base by downloading, storing and integrating information from the internet into their daily lesson plans. As a facilitator of student information, teachers can keep pace with student needs and the changing informational world by using technology to bring the curriculum "alive".

COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION EVOLVES!!!
Active participation becomes second nature to the Taylor School District community when teachers, parents and students utilize technology as a teaching and communication tool. Today, Taylor teachers that are on-line are assessable to parents by e-mail for consultation.

Furthermore, student homework can now be retrieved by parents on a regular basis. Problem-solving techniques that demonstrate the application and excitement of student learning are witnessed by the community on a daily basis. It is no wonder that this community believes in investing in the leaders of tomorrow.........today!!!

TECHNOLOGY TRAINER ENTHUSIASM!!!
The technology instructor for the project is the vital link to the success of the project. The teachers must be able to relate to the individual and have confidence in that person's ability. The instructor controls the classroom environment so that all teachers feel a level of comfort to explore, make mistakes and grow within their own time frame.
