The technology training lab designed for the project originated from a normal size classroom. The original room was stripped down to the bare walls and new lighting, tile, paint, window treatments and electrical amenities were installed. All of the work was completed within a two month time frame. Upon completion of the physical plant, the elementary offices and classrooms were wired and equipped with the following hardware and software items.

HARDWARE FOR TECHNICAL LAB

  • Twenty-nine MacIntosh G3 workstations with 17" Apple Studio displays and zip drives.
  • Phillips 27" Monitor/Receiver Color TV with built-in scan converter cards, S-VHS in/out and AV inputs
