Biography


Dr. Diane Szalka
Dr. Diane E. Szalka has been a driving force in education for thirty years in the Taylor Michigan School District. She has been a classroom teacher for fourteen years instructing elementary, middle, high school and college students in various disciplines. Following her classroom experience, Dr. Szalka served as the district's technology staff development coordinator. Her administrative experience includes seven years as a middle school assistant principal and five years as an Assistant Superintendent for K-12 Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Szalka has been recently appointed to the position of Assistant Superintendent for Labor Relations and Personnel. She remains very involved in the application and integration of technology into the district's educational programs.
