A Learning Website for Middle School Students

Activity 1: Your School's Homepage
Go to your school's website.
Explore the site and as you do so write down 12-15 things that you really like and appreciate about your school.
Do this on lined paper.
Write in complete sentences, use your own words.

Activity 2: The List
Open up a new word processing file.
List 10 things that you really like and appreciate about your school AND tell why you like and appreciate each one of these items.
Number these items 1-10.
Insert a footer:  your name
Run a spell check.
Then proof read your work.
Save this file as LIST
Print it out.

Here's an example:
  1. I really like the ladies in the cafeteria who
serve us lunch because they are nice to
us and they serve us nutritional food.

Activity 3: The School Pride Poster
Study your list of ideas, then open up a new paint file and begin designing your School Pride Poster.
All graphics must be original.
As you design this poster, keep the following in mind - your poster must clearly show others how you feel about your school plus it must be neat, colorful and easy to understand.
Insert a footer:  your name
Run a spell check.
Then proof read your work.
Save this file as POSTER
Print it out.
