Go to this site, How Kids Can Help From A To Z. Find 2 tips that most people could do. For each tip, explain how it helps to protect the Earth's environment.
Go to this site, The Three R's. Then answer these questions:
What does Reuse mean? Why is it important to reuse? Give an example how a person could reuse.
What does Reduce mean? Why is it important to reduce? Give an example of how a person could reduce.
What does Recycle mean? Why is it important to recycle? Give an example of how a person could recycle.Go to this site, Everyday Ways You Can Help Clean Up the Earth. Choose 5 tips. For each tip, explain how it helps to protect the Earth's environment.
Go to this site, Pollution Prevention Starts at Home. Find 2 tips that most people could do. For each tip, explain how it helps to protect the Earth's environment.
Go to this site, A Better World Starts at Home. There are 21 topic links on this page. Go to the ones you want to go to and find 2 tips that most people could do. For each tip, explain how it helps to protect the Earth's environment.
Go to this site, P2 At Home. Find 2 tips that most people could do. For each tip, explain how it helps to protect the Earth's environment.
Go to this site, Environmental Factlist. Turn 2 of these facts into tips. Then explain how each one of your tips help to protect the Earth's environment.

To be successful with
this part of the project, you MUST follow these directions. Do them in order.
1 Open up a new word processing file.
2 Type, bold and center this title:
15 Easy Things You Can Do To Help Take Care Of Earth
By
Your Full Name
3 Use the font, size, style, and color features to make your title look special.
4 Turn the numbering feature on
5 Turn double spacing on.
6 Use this font for the rest of your document: Arial, 14, black
7 Type each tip. Then explain how that tip helps to protect Earth's environment. Make sure you word wrap.
8 Proofread.
9 Spell Check.
10 Save your tips word processing file as - Tips.
11 Go to the paint program. Open a new paint file.
12 Draw a picture that supports the theme of Earth Day.
13 Save your drawing as - Picture. Click here to see some sample drawings.
14 Go to your Tips file. Copy, then paste your graphic above your title.
15 Resave Tips after you paste your drawing into place.
16 Print.
