Create a two-three page
newsletter about one holiday.
The purpose of this newsletter is for you to educate others about the
holiday you chose to research.

Presidents Day
Memorial Day

Independence Day

Thanksgiving
Halloween
Research your holiday choice. Use Google. Write a citation for every source you use.
Draw four holiday graphics. Use PAINT.
- Articles: You must include these 6 Articles or Sections in your newsletter.
- History Section: Describe how your holiday came to be.
- Traditions/Customs Section: Describe holiday traditions and/or customs.
- Recipes/Food Section: Include foods & recipes that are traditional for your holiday.
- Literary Section: Include short stories, poems and/or quotes about your holiday.
- Fun Section: Include activities, crafts, jokes, games and/or songs about your holiday.
- Etc: Include a couple more articles about your holiday that you think your readers would enjoy reading.
- Citations: List your citations at the end of your newsletter.
- Format: You must format your newsletter in the following way.
- Your newsletter must be 2 pages long.
- Each page must have 2 columns.
- Each page must have a page number.
- Page 1: Include the Title of Your Newsletter, the name of the editor (that's you), the date, a Table of Contents, some articles, and 2 original holiday graphics created by you.
- Page 2: Include a Headline, some articles, 2 original holiday graphics created by you, and your citations.
- Page 3: Optional
- Each Article must be written using your own words - no copying.
- Each Article must be labeled with a title.
- Each Article must be at least 2 paragraphs long, typed in this font size - size 12.
- Proof read! Spell check! Save often! Print one time!
