Stout's
PFSO improves life at Stout School by educating parents
on issues about middle school children and their
education, undertaking school improvement projects, and raising funds.
Stout
PFSO's mission is to improve life at Stout Middle School. All persons interested in the Stout community are invited
to join Stout's PFSO. To
become a member of Stout's PFSO, all you have to do is
pay a $5.00
membership fee and ascribe to the main goal of the Stout's PFSO
- to improve the school. The Stout's PFSO meets every
second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
Stout's PFSO contributes a lot to
Stout. For example, Stout's PFSO....
- Advocated for the traffic light
that's in front of our
school on Oakwood Blvd.
- Purchased Motivational
Banners.
- Donates books to Stout's
Library.
- Sells concessions at sporting
events and the school dances.
- Maintains Stout's beautiful gardens -
indoors and out.
- Sponsors inter-school
community events.
- Conducts several fundraisers
each year.
- Sponsors enrichment
assemblies.
- Provides hospitality at public
events such as:

Career Day
Open House
Parent-Teacher Conferences
6th Grade Orientation
Holiday & Staff Appreciation Luncheons
The 8th Grade Graduation Party
- Encourages communication between parents
and staff.
- Sends out a
newsletter to parents several times a year.
