The Stout Library Media Center provides books and other materials to students and teachers to support curriculum and for leisure reading.  Our goal is to provide opportunities for students to explore literature, improve study and research skills, and develop an appreciation of reading.

Because of the diversity of our student population, we have a wide range of reading levels in our collection from easy readers for students just learning English to high school level books for our advanced readers. Books circulate for three weeks and reference materials can be checked out overnight.

We also have 400 educational videos and other teaching materials for teachers to use with students.

Our computer station of six computers can be used by students for research on the internet or word processing.  Students can make arrangements to stay after school to use these computers.  They may also use them during the school day.

We have two Book Fairs each year.  The Book Fair in November is available to parents at Parent Conferences. The Book Fair in May is buy one book, get one free book to encourage summer reading.

Our Library Media Center is staffed by Ms. Moore, the Library Media Specialist and by Mrs. Pascaris, the Media Secretary.
