8th Grade Like?
All comments and graphics are by previous 7th &
8th grade students!
7th & 8th grade is a little
bit different than 6th grade. In 7th grade & in 8th
grade...
- You are allowed to participate in sports
besides intramurals and you can compete with your team against the other
schools.
- You can
choose your elective classes and be in them for a longer time.
- You
take
the MEAP tests.
- You have more homework to do.
- You are treated more like an adult.
- You have more responsibility.

You will do great in 7th and 8th
grade if you just remember these things.....
- Stout is like family. Your friends and
your teachers are here for you.
- In
7th and 8th grade, you will have a lot of new opportunities to explore and challenges to
overcome. But don't be nervous! Enjoy each new opportunity and
tackle each new challenge with a good attitude.
- Concentrate on doing your best.
- Come prepared to class. Bring everything
you are suppose to bring.
- Pay attention in class.
- Study hard and get the best grades you can
get.
- Do all your homework and hand it in on
time.
- Try to do as many extra credit assignments as
you can.
- Ask for help when you need help. The
teachers at Stout want to help you. All you have to do is ask.
- Always behave :-)
- Be a good friend and have fun with your
friends.
- Join an after school activity. Become
involved with something that you like and get a friend to join it with you -
that way it's more fun.
