Stout's Carnival takes place every year. The purpose of this annual event is to raise money for student activities and assemblies AND for the entire building to have a morning of fun!
Mr. Shamey and 8th grade volunteers set up 30 game stations the night before the event. Ticket Booths and the Prize Shop are also set up the night before.
Four 8th graders are assigned to each game station with one staff member to supervise. Other teachers supervise behavior. Sixth grade teachers run and supervise the Food & Beverages Area.
Some of the games include: flying frog, the teacher dunk tank, hockey, basketball, hoop toss, face painting and hair beading.
When students are successful at a game, they receive a ticket that is redeemable at the Prize Shop.
