Social Studies--- Economics Project: Career planning, budgeting, interest, loans, leases, supply and demand, etc.

Math---geometry, analytical thinking, real-world projects, problem solving, and writing in math

Science---Human Body Systems and Nutrition

Writing---Camp Photo Essay, grammar, expository writing

Spelling---Patterns and generalizations taught through the use of the series, Spelling for Writers

Reading---non-fiction science and social studies reading for meaning
