CLASSROOM POLICIES for the
Stonehenge Team
2001 - 2002

1. Students will respect the rights of others. Behavior that interferes with the learning of others will not be tolerated.
2. You are expected to bring all necessary materials to class. This includes any books, writing materials, and student planner. Parents should review and sign the student planner daily.
We will at times communicate with you using this book.
3. Tardiness will not be accepted. The second time a student is tardy to class his/her parents will be notified. If you are tardy after that you will be referred to the office for further disciplinary action at the discretion of the teacher.
4. Except for emergencies, you will not be allowed to leave the classroom once class begins. If you must use the restroom or go to your locker, you should do so between class.
5. Each student will be responsible for safeguarding his/her textbook. Each book is to be covered and and remain covered throughout the year. At the end of the school year, fees will be assessed for lost damaged books, in accordance with school policy.
6. Students shall not talk when the teacher is talking, when announcements are being made over the public address system, or when other students are given permission to speak.7. To receive full credit for assignments, the assignment is to be complete and turned in on time. Check with teacher regarding absent or make-up policies.
8. All papers must have the correct heading. This includes full name (first and last), date, block, or any other requested information. Sloppy work will not be accepted. Any paper that cannot be read will not be accepted.
9. Gum and candy are not permitted at BMS, therefore they are not allowed in the classroom. Hats, jackets, or book bags are not to be brought to class.
10. Students will keep their feet and hands to themselves.
