4. Use of Information:  Engage in the source (read, hear, view, touch). 

    1. Take a look at all the information that you got.
    2. Decide whether your thesis statement needs to be changed.
    3. Extract relevant information from the articles.  Using the printouts and notes that you gathered, decide what is useful for your topic. Highlight the information that might be especially useful for your topic.  
    4. Analyze the information and prepare to use it in your final product. Do an outline to show how you will organize your information.
    5. You should summarize or paraphrase the information and prepare to do citations for the material you use.
