Services Grade 9 through completion of Special Education

The Belleville High special education program is departmentalized, offering the special needs student classes in all areas of disabilities. The program provides prevocational / vocational training and transition services.
Vocational Training
North West Skills Center: Livonia, Michigan - Vocational Training and job placement for special needs students completing high school programs: services students of all disability areas. Students also have access to general education vocational programs if appropriate.
Van Buren Services
Vocational Education Program: Belleville, Michigan - Services all special needs students in all programs: Welding, Auto Body, Auto Detailing, Auto Mechanics, Small Engine Repair, Metal Shop, Culinary Arts, Health Care Programs, Photography, Video and Video Production, Building Trades; Home Repair, Electronics and the like.
Special Education Work Study / Coop Placement:
Available to juniors and seniors with special needs. Program provides vocational counseling, job placement and on the job follow up by vocational work study coordinator.
Michigan Department of Career Development:
Each Belleville High School special needs student is scheduled, prior to graduation, with a Michigan Department of Career Development Coordinator and encouraged to open an active case for further assistance post graduation.
