NOODLETOOLS ...How to use it!

• WHERE is the website?   Go to: www.noodletools.com   SELECT: Noodlebib

• How do I log in?  The first login screen is for YOUR folder. IF you haven't made a folder yet, click on: "CREATE a FOLDER."

• BEFORE the site will let you create a folder, you must now log in to our school subscription using the Noodletools login and password.  If you do not know this password, ask Mrs. Chambers ...or call me at the GIHS library: phone (734) 362-2439 ...

• NOW create your folder!

• Click on:  "Start new list"

• Select the format you wish to use:  ( "MLA STARTER" is a good choice)

• Go to the top of the page, click on the down arrow, and select the TYPE of citation you plan to do...book?  website? magazine?  etc.

• Fill in the required info.  (websites don't always have all the categories you need...fill in only the info provided)

• When done, click on:  "generate citation"

• Ready to add another citation?   Go back up to the top, click the down arrow to select your next type of material being sited: book? reference? website?...etc.  Keep adding citations until you are done.

• READY TO PRINT YOUR bibliography?  On the left hand side of the page, click "PREVIEW."  A page will appear that will show you how your bibliography will look. NOW...copy and paste this into WORD...SELECT ALL...and then double space this and print.

YOU ARE DONE!!!
